When it comes to Hollywood, there’s always the likelihood of a good, mind-jolting story. What could perhaps be the story of the year is the possibility that Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey are real-life brothers. During an interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Woody opened up about how the whole possibility makes him feel.

The idea of the possibility came about when their families traveled to Greece together a few years back. Apparently, Matthew’s mother revealed that she “knew” Woody’s father.

“We went on to unpack what this ‘knew’ meant and did some math and found out that his dad was on furlough at the same time that my mom and dad were in their second divorce,” Matthew explained during an interview with Kelly Ripa. Woody shared that there “is some veracity” to potentially sharing a father with Matthew.

For years, the two have been said to resemble each other. “My family thinks a lot of pictures of him are me. His family thinks a lot of pictures of me are him,” Matthew said. Both actors want to take a DNA test to confirm the truth.
