Sophie Windsor Clive and Liberty Smith were roaming the Shannon River in Ireland when they came across one of nature’s greatest prospects – the hum of starlings! Marbles occur when hundreds of thousands of birds congregate and soar in the sky in dazzling formations. It is believed that the birds’ beautiful movements are just a defense against predators such as hawks.
One thing is for sure, to see it is glamorous. Young women were very lucky to experience something so amazing! I wish I was there myself.
Share this flight scene with your friends and family so they too can enjoy this rare sight!
