The six episodes of the most recent Netflix documentary featuring Harry and Meghan are now all streaming, which has caused quite a commotion.

The Sussexes gave their version of the tale, but neither Kensington Palace nor Buckingham Palace commented on what was said, thus things have been relatively quiet across the pond.

Many people’s attention was drawn to something regarding sweet Lilibet. Harry and Meghan also disclosed who the godfather of their daughter is.

In the midst of the drama with Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, that preceded the royal wedding, Tyler Perry, a 53-year-old director, and Meghan and Harry first became acquainted in 2018. Tyler Perry sent her a letter of support at the time.

Photos of him getting ready for the wedding at the time surfaced, and it was later discovered that they had been faked because photographers had paid him to appear in them. As a result, the father and daughter got into a fight, and Thomas decided not to go to the wedding.

Perry expressed his sympathy and gave his support to Meghan as she was going through the experience.

Meghan told him about her troubles with the media once they got in touch. “It pained to tell Meghan that I thought her thoughts were fair. I didn’t want to have to tell her that or for her to feel that way. However, I didn’t want to tell her a falsehood,” Perry stated.

“To use the institution to try and do all the things that a batterer would do, like, ‘Here’s what we’re going to do: We’re going to cut off the money, we’re going to not leave you security,’” Perry went on to say that the Palace “abused” the pair.

Perry offered the Sussexes one of his LA properties when they made the decision to leave their regal responsibilities and relocate to the United States.

For Harry and Meghan, even for a short time, being in a location they could call home was pleasure. No one was aware of their precise location, allowing them to lead normal lives.

In the controversial interview with Oprah, where numerous accusations were levelled against the Firm, Meghan claimed, “We didn’t have a strategy. We needed a house, and Tyler Perry also provided his security, so that allowed us some breathing room as we tried to decide what to do.

Harry and Meghan did their best to recognise Perry for everything he accomplished for them by asking him to be Lili’s godfather.

The offer caught him completely off guard, to put it mildly.

“Okay, what’s going on?” I ask. Well, we’d want for you to be Lili’s godfather, they said. I said, “Whoa.” It took me a while to process that. I would consider that an honour. I’d be honoured without a doubt. In the documentary series, Perry said

“I called them back and said, ‘Maybe we can do a little private ceremony here [in the U.S.] and let that be that.’” Perry continued. “Does this mean we gotta go over [to the U.K.] and do all of that in church with [the royal family] and figure all that out? ‘Cause I don’t want to do that.
