“When a door closes, a window opens,” as the saying goes. You’ve almost certainly heard this quote a million times. Many people have used it more than once.

But, regardless of who said it first, one thing is certain: while this is not a Bible verse, it surely inspires people to trust in faith and hope.

Life may offer you many disappointments and heartaches, but it should not lead you to stop believing and instead strengthen your confidence in God. Those with a strong faith believe that lost dreams are God’s method of alerting you that something better is on the way.

And all it takes is a little patience and faith that everything happens for a reason.

But losing something you’ve grown to love is one of the worst things. That is exactly what happened to Steve Harvey, the popular talk show host.

His daytime talk show “Steve” (formerly “Steve Harvey”) aired on NBC for seven seasons/years. Regardless, the network chose to let him go.

What happened raised whether the show was merely a victim of NBCUniversal’s competition with Endeavor’s IMG Original Content when IMG took control two seasons ago.

When the show was in its final season, Harvey said he was unhappy with how the network handled the replacement with “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

Despite the sad news, Steve maintained his faith and trust in God. He shared a video on Instagram that truly inspired a lot of people.

“They’re going to shut the door on me in 2019,” he says in the video. “All of this suggests that God has another door for me to open,” he continues, making us adore him even more for who he is. According to Steve, closing a door does not necessarily mean the world’s end.

“I’ve learnt to accept God’s will and recognize that everything that happens to me is for my benefit and growth,” he stated. “Because the God I worship did not bring me this far in order to leave me.”

Steve Harvey started the lunchtime conversation show “The Steve Harvey Show” in 2012. Endemol Shine North America and NBCUniversal co-produced the film, which was distributed by NBCUniversal Television Domestic Television Distribution.

The show was one of the few new daytime entries that receive good to excellent ratings. During the final season of the show, it averaged around 1. Every week, 8 million people watch.

As a result, it climbed to sixth place among talk shows, trailing only “Dr. “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” and “Maury,” among others.

Despite the fact that “Steve” is no longer on the air, the popular talk show host remains a television fixture. He is the host of “Family Feud” and has emceed several events, including the Miss Universe pageant and Fox’s “New Year’s Eve with Steve Harvey: Live From Times Square.”
