After hearing a story about how a Cincinnati mother left an ice cream sandwich from Wal-Mart in the sun for 12 hours and it didn’t melt, Dan Collins of KIKN 100.5 in Sioux Falls decided to put the woman’s story to the test.

Capturing the entire experiment on camera, he watched as his ice cream sandwich remained relatively unchanged — despite sitting in sun for over an hour. As the temperature blazed over 78 degrees, he discovered the ice cream really didn’t melt. How crazy is that?!
