The saying goes that if you marry someone, you are actually marrying the whole family. The in-laws are now part of your family and whether you like it or not, most people should try to find a way to relate to each other.

When Meghan Markle married Prince Harry, she married his entire family. Although the couple died as senior members of the royal family, they are still related by blood. Harry will always be the Queen’s grandson, Prince Charles’ son and Prince William’s brother. Meghan will always be the Queen’s granddaughter, daughter-in-law of Prince Charles and sister-in-law of Prince William.

While new information shows that the Queen appears to support Harry and Meghan, the opposite has been revealed about Prince William. The two brothers meet on July 1 to unveil a statue of their late mother, Princess Diana, but that may not mean a reconciliation.

Before Harry traveled to the UK for the statue’s unveiling, it was the last time Harry was in the UK for Prince Philip’s funeral. While many hoped that William and Harry’s grandfather’s funeral would help them resolve disagreements, the opposite seems to be the case.

Old friends reported that the brothers got into an argument after the funeral, when they were no longer seen by the public and the media. A friend shared: “The anger between these two has grown unimaginably deeper. So many cruel and hurtful things have been said.”

As two brothers, William and Harry have many friends in common, and many of their friends don’t take sides. Instead, they can see both perspectives. William defends the royal family. Harry defends his wife. It seems reasonable.
