To say that Meghan Markle’s marriage to Prince Harry has caused tragedy among the royals is an understatement. First, there were several press articles that treated Meghan harder than her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton. Afterwards, the couple shocked the royal family and the world by announcing that they would be stepping down as senior members of the royal family.

Meghan and Harry got their facts straight in an interview with Oprah Winfrey and they threw some bombshells, including accusing the royal family of racism and Meghan describing not being allowed to leave their home. She said she felt like Ariel in The Little Mermaid because her voice was far away from her like a mermaid.

Despite the drama, the couple still seem to be talking to Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. According to Harry, his grandparents are chatting on video with their grandson Archie before Prince Philip’s death. However, life in California and constantly talking to the press about private family matters did not sit well with the queen. The Queen’s official position was that the family would settle the matter privately.

Harry has visited his family several times since moving to California, but Meghan has stayed home. This was because she was pregnant with the couple’s second child, a daughter they named Lillipet. Meghan was unable to follow her husband when he attended Prince Philip’s funeral. She was also not present at the unveiling of the statue of Princess Diana.

Now it looks like Meghan is ready to join her husband on a trip across the pond. In fact, in an amazing turn of events, Megan has already asked to meet the Queen. According to The Sun, the couple wants their daughter Lilibit to be christened at Windsor Castle.

A source told The Sun: “Harry and Meghan did this show, but a lot of people were shocked by the brutality of it. They may really want to see the Queen, but that’s amazing considering what they’ve given her this year.” The source added that Her Majesty’s crew has not yet responded. In fact, Christmas was also discussed – and whether an invitation should be sent to Harry and Meghan after they declined the invitation last year.”

Although the royal family is shocked by Meghan’s request and has not yet responded, that does not mean that the Queen is not complying with the request. According to the source, “The Queen is still very much in love with Harry and would love to see Lillibit and her brother Archie.”
