The police officers that serve in our magnificent country frequently have a negative reputation. Although some of the criticism is justified, many people overlook the fact that the bulk of these brave men and women risk their lives every day to keep the rest of us safe.

That’s why I adore stories like this one, in which police officer demonstrates that they are excellent human beings.

It all started on Valentine’s Day when Iesha Roper-Boswell called to report a gas leak in an apartment complex. Cpl. C.B. Fleming of the South Hill Police Department was the first to respond, but once he’d calmed Iesha’s anxieties, he went ahead and did something that would make her cry…

Valentine’s Day is coming up in 2019. Officer C.B. Fleming was the one who answered the phone when Iesha Roper-Boswell reported a gas leak at an apartment complex.

However, after completing his task, he took the time to go above and above before heading back out.

“I was telling him that my daughter, niece, and some of the other youngsters here were terrified of cops,” Iesha told WTVR.

“So when he came over and played with them, I recorded it, not because I thought it would go viral, but because it was incredible that my niece didn’t cry.”

Officer Fleming demonstrated that he’s not only good at upholding America’s laws, but he’s also really good at coloring and playing dolls!

“When I got into this profession, I felt there was something more, other than simply giving tickets and being the bad guy all the time,” the man, a 15-year veteran of the police, told WTVR. “I figured that if I could make someone’s day a little brighter, that was all that counted.”

“He’s incredible.” “Iesha added, “That’s the only word you can properly use to characterize C.B.” “The bond he has with the kids is absolutely incredible.”
