Most of us can only imagine how difficult it is to be part of a lengthy trial. There are others, however, who have found themselves in the middle of one, including Amber Heard and Johnny Depp.
Once the lengthy and very public trial was over, Heard said she was going to step away from the busy life of acting and focus on being a mother for a while. It wasn’t long before pictures started showing up of her spending time with her daughter.
One of the things that she did was move to Spain. She has been spending a lot of time in the country, and we’re not really sure yet if it is a permanent move or not.
After being ordered to pay Depp $10 million, she sold her home in California and filed for bankruptcy. Everything would have to be straightened out financially before she made a permanent move out of the country.
Heard has also stepped away from social media, not posting anything on Instagram since last December. Even then, it was only a statement said that she had settled the defamation case.
It was in October 2022 that she was first seen in Spain. According to a source that spoke to PEOPLE: “The trial was exhausting for her. She missed her little girl.”
Rather than focusing on losing the trial or her acting, she is putting her attention on her daughter. The source explained that she is focused on that, and they stroll around, visiting parks, and enjoying time together.
