Don’t you like it when people with respectable upbringing (we’re talking rich and famous parents) advise ordinary people as if they can communicate? Yes, nobody does.

Variety interviewed Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and their mother Kris Jenner about their new show on Hulu. During the interview, the sisters also spoke about being women in business.

Chloe was the first sister to answer a question about the advice she would give to women in business. She said: “My advice to women in business is that you have to do something that you’re really passionate about, because if you’re not passionate about it, it’s not going to be easy, no matter what it looks like. And I think that’s going to be the case People who see things with instant gratification because they think social media is coming. Easy for people. It doesn’t happen especially when you want something long-term.”

Then Kim jumped in to offer her advice, which she called “best advice.” Kim said, “I have the best advice for business women. Get your ass and work. It seems nobody wants to work these days.”

Kourtney then confirmed her sister’s statement, saying, “It’s so true.”

Kim added: “You need to surround yourself with people who want to work. Create a good work environment where everyone loves what they do because you have a life. There are no toxic work environments, come and get the job done.”

Kim may have thought she was being too inspirational in her comments, but many people on social media took her as an example of how separated she is from the rest of her family. After all, we have just come through a pandemic that has resulted in many people losing their jobs and many parents (especially women) having to figure out how to provide for their families while still being the sole source of childcare for their children in schools that are suddenly closed down. This doesn’t give many people the time or energy to figure out what they’re passionate about and make sure they’re surrounded by other passionate people to get the job done.
