In 1959, Turkish captain Llhan Durupinar discovered an unusual shape while examining several photographs taken from the top of his country. This shape was larger than a football field and stood in the middle of the rocky ground at an altitude of 1,920 meters, near the border with Turkey and Iran.
Durupinar was familiar with what the Bible says about the Ark, and he also knew that it was associated in Turkey with Mount Ararat, but he did not want to draw a conclusion anyway. The region was very isolated, yet it was inhabited by people who organized themselves into small villages. No one had talked about this strange object before, so he sent the images to a famous aerial photography expert, Dr. Brandenburger, from the University of Ohio, USA.
Here is what he said to her: “I have no doubt that this object is a vessel. In my whole career I have never seen such an object on such a picture “. In 1960, the above image was published in LIFE magazine entitled “NOAH’S ARK?” In the same year an American expedition was organized, a group of people went to the scene for two days. They dug but found nothing of interest.
VISUAL EVIDENCE
In 1977 he visited the place of Ron Wyatt who conducted research there for several years. He measured the strange shape of the earth and it was strange that the results corresponded to those presented in the Bible, however, if there were the remains of a vessel there, they were buried in the mud. If they still existed, the wood would have been petrified. But he did not find such a thing, which is why his expedition was half a failure. However, he and a team of geologists used a radar. Eventually, it emerged that there really was a certain structure in the earth, and Wyatt said that the structure was made by man, not nature.
Ron Wyatt also made a small very deep excavation to take soil samples, and from there he took out some extremely interesting objects. The most important object was a petrified piece of earth that is actually made of three different pieces that seem to have been glued with a kind of organic glue, the same technology that is currently being used on the same materials in the rolling process. This suggests that in the ancient world there was a much more advanced technology than we thought.
With the metal detector, a kind of huge screw was discovered that has survived since antiquity!
Nowadays people make small pilgrimages in this place, gather pieces of petrified wood, and keep them as talismans, most of them state that they have no doubt that this is where the Noah’s Ark is.
