Foxes roam freely and interact with visitors at an unusual animal shelter

Imagine that you are surrounded by dozens of fluffy foxes. Happy visitors to Zao Fox Village can experience it! The mountain animal sanctuary is located near Shiroishi in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. Hundreds of foxes of six different subspecies roam freely around the territory and communicate with people.

Visitors can feed and walk up to the foxes, although petting is not recommended in the park as they are still wild animals. But, as you can see in the video, many foxes are familiar to humans and approach them out of curiosity and for snacks!
