Eighteen-year-old cancer patient Jared Hill wanted to attend his girlfriend’s prom, but his doctor told him he would have to wear a mask to protect himself from getting sick. Unsure of how others would react, Hill was nervous about going, but his girlfriend wasn’t going to let him miss out on their prom and devised the most amazing plan.

Hill’s girlfriend Emily Jarrell and their entire prom group decided to all wear protective masks, so he wouldn’t feel uncomfortable. This simple act is so heartwarming. He has such amazing friends, who even at 17, showed a lot of character. They truly united to make sure he had the best prom experience ever.
