Ed Sheeran can be seen shedding tears as he discusses his wife Cherry Seaborn’s health concerns and the passing of his close friend Jamal Edwards in a preview of a new heart-wrenching documentary. The clip was recently unveiled on Disney+, and it’s part of a four-part series.

In a recent confession, Ed Sheeran revealed that he fell into a state of sadness when his wife received a tumor diagnosis while pregnant last year, and her treatment was postponed. Adding to this, his first mentor Jamal Edwards, who passed away in February 2022 from a heart attack, only exacerbated his melancholy.
The singer-songwriter from Suffolk is shown crying in today’s clip as he struggles with his friend’s passing and his wife Cherry’s health issues as she gets ready to give birth to their second kid, Jupiter, who will be born in May 2022.

He then appears in a videotape of himself sobbing on stage, and Cherry comments, “I’ve never seen him sob on stage,” adding, “He hasn’t had the time to process and be at peace with his ideas.”
“You guys said, “Do you want to make a documentary?”” Ed then asks the camera. , “Yes, it’ll be me in the studio, and we’ll do a gig,” I responded. Nevertheless, he continued, “That’s not what the documentary is” in light of the pain of the previous 12 months.
In six weeks, a four-part series will be released that will trace Sheeran’s rise to fame.

After speaking about his youth and stuttering while growing up, Ed says in the teaser, “That kid doesn’t grow up to be a pop sensation. It’s so improbable.
Videos of Ed from his early years are intercut with scenes from his sold-out arena performances.
