It didn’t happen in Romania, but it’s still a dangerous thing wherever it happens. Despite it being -20°C outside, a new mother in Siberia decided she didn’t want to raise her child and chose to leave her in an egg carton. A group of young people discovered the girl near the village of Sosnovka near Novosibirsk. On Christmas Day, five friends, all teenagers, performed the ancient ritual. They were chatting and laughing when they noticed something strange on the side of the road. It was a carton of eggs and they were surprised when they got closer.

A child almost froze to death in it. A terrified teenager called his mother and told her what had happened, and soon after, the woman jumped into the car. Then they all rushed the little boy to the hospital for emergency medical help. Everyone was concerned because since the baby was so small, he could die from frostbite. Not so. The little girl recovered quickly after the doctors and nurses took care of her, and everyone burst into tears. Although the girl was born only three days, she fought for her life.

Meanwhile, authorities are looking for her mother, who is accused of attempted murder. One of the parents of the five young men wanted to adopt the child, but the police advised her to find the mother first. They have three other sons, all of whom claim to worship them as if they were their own. Even then, it’s still out of reach for most people to get one. This did not stop them from filling out applications and other papers, because despite the bitter cold, they were eager to adopt the abandoned child.
