After Charlotte Galbraith was married, she was an unbelievably happy creature. She was married to the love of her life and her whole future was laid out in front of her… but she never expected such unimaginable tragedy to strike.
During the wedding toast, her father collapsed.
Charlotte watched her father fall during the wedding toast. Then, the screaming started.
After being rushed to the hospital, the 65 year-old struggled to survive. But, after a long fight, he passed away.
The hotel that held the reception now has a defibrillator on-site, hoping to prevent tragedies like this in the future.
“At the end of the day, the most important thing was my dad walked me down the aisle and saw us get married, and that we are married,” said Charlotte.
