An adoptive cat who grew up in a shelter makes its first friend – a horse

Morris lived in a shelter until he was nine months old when Jennifer Boyle adopted him and brought him home forever. Morris was scared at first, but shortly after meeting horse Champi, Morris trusted his surroundings a little more. They met outside Jennifer’s house one morning.

“I left Morris on my porch after he had a few days to settle in and Champy took an immediate interest in him. He came to say hello and insisted he wanted to take care of Maurice,” explains Jennifer .

Morris was not immediately drawn to Champy, but since Champi did not give up on befriending him, Morris could no longer resist.

“After Champ Morris prepared for about a week, Morris felt safe with him and jumped on Champi’s back to prepare him in return,” added Jennifer.

They seem to have the best time together. They have been seen drinking water together, napping together, and even going horse riding together. Meet the cat Maurice and Champé the Horse, inseparable friends.
