There are many amazing rescues, but this one really touched me. I had no idea that hedgehogs were on such a steep decline in numbers. Did you know that there were 30 million hedgehogs in the UK in 1950 and now there is only 1 million left? Projections state that buy 2025, hedgehogs could be facing urban extinction! It would be an incredible shame to lose such an adorable creature!

This little angel would have surely died in the can if he was not rescued by a kind samaritan.

Please remember, if you throw out cans without crushing them, little critters like this one can get their heads stuck in them, and die a horrible death. Please crush cans before discarding them, and many lives can be saved!
