Imagine you’re driving, minding your own business, and suddenly you see a garbage bag moving across the road.It happened to Malissa.
#2 The Moving Bag
Malissa Sergent Lewis, from Kentucky, was driving to work. She took a shortcut since she was running late. Then, she saw the moving garbage bag.
#3 A Puppy
“I saw this trash bag in the road, and I thought to myself, ‘Did I just see that bag move?’ The closer I got, I realized it was moving,” Lewis said. “I could hardly wrap my mind around that. Something was alive in that bag, and I just knew I had to get whatever it was out.”
#4 Look At That Face!
Lewis released what turned out to be an abandoned puppy wearing a collar, but no tag. She took it with her and tried to find the owners, but obviously no one claimed it.
#5 Hefty
The pup, which they named Hefty, is now healthy, happy, and fortunately in good hands, since he has been adopted by Malissa and her family.
