Scientists Capture Rare Black Seadevil Fish On Film For The First Time


The deep sea is filled with incredible surprises and amazing creatures like this rare deep sea anglerfish! A research team conducting a dive in Monterey Bay in California has just captured the first-ever video of the fish named Melanocetus – it’s also known as the Black Seadevil! The creature lives in the deep, dark waters of the Monterey Canyon.

It’s a fascinating fish. With scary jaws and a light on top of its head to lure prey, it looks like a scary monster. Take a look at this amazing footage!
