Being a witness to a random act of kindness is one amazing way to adjust your perspective. It’s easy to get caught up in how hard life is or how many bad things there are in the world. However, after seeing something purely good, you’ll be reminded of the joy there is in life.

This man lost his license while he was out of the house. He thought it was gone for good until he received a touching, hand-scrawled letter in the mail. It was from a boy with special needs named Steven. He found the license and wanted to give it back, because it was the right thing to do.

After finding the license on the sidewalk, Steven made sure to send it back, out of the goodness of his heart.

The lost item’s owner was so happy with his act of kindness, he sent a small gift as a thank-you.

The act of kindness created a buzz on the internet and even sparked a local news station to do a story.
